Adrian “Stretch Armstrong” Bartos and Robert “Bobbito” Garcia, created one of the greatest and most influential hip-hop radio shows NYC has ever heard. The “Stretch & Bobbito Show” saw the likes of Nas, Mobb Deep, Notorious B.I.G. Busta Rhymes, Jay-Z, Wu-Tang, Kool G Rap, and Big Pun, stroll through the confines of the WKCR studio at Columbia University. Most of these rappers were unsigned at the time, just looking for an outlet that would support the music and showcase their mic skills. To celebrate the 20th Anniversary of the show, Stretch Armstrong, Bobbito , and co-host Lord Sear, will be hosting a live event at Le Poisson Rouge in NYC, 2/10.
